"With this body of work I treat people (my friends) as abstract energies that are walking along side me on this planet, surrounded by nature and industry in it’s abstract elements. I draw and paint my friends as dramatic ever-changing movements.
My work is a journey for the eye, a journey of discovery, reflecting the diversity and complexity of people and nature. When I look at people I see their colours, and when I hear my friends speak, they speak to me in colour that has emotion attached to it. I hope people and nature never loose their colour because if everyone conforms to what society wants them to be there is nothing else for me to paint."
